President's Update

Good news! We are past the middle of winter – it’s downwind from here to Summer. This summer is going to include our 75th Anniversary Sailing Spectacular. I am hoping that the long weekend of 16th December is going to change the perception of sailing in the view of the authorities and the general public for ever.

Congratulations to Lindani Mchunu for being named in the top three of the Blue Economy Champion Awards. Lindani is the transformation councillor at South African Sailing. He was recently nominated for the Blue Economy Champion Awards among other key role players in the maritime industry
