Congrats to Team Ubuntu

Congrats to our very own Team Ubuntu who qualified for the Star Sailors League Gold Cup with a race to spare! They then topped that off my wrapping up an impressive qualifying campaign with victory in the final race.

Use it Again the Legendary Trimaran Boat

Royal Cape Yacht Club recently had the pleasure of welcoming Romain Pilliard at the club - he is the skipper of the famous trimaran 'Use It Again!' and has been attempting a Round the World Record in reverse since January 4, from Lorient.

President's Update

Good news! We are past the middle of winter – it’s downwind from here to Summer. This summer is going to include our 75th Anniversary Sailing Spectacular. I am hoping that the long weekend of 16th December is going to change the perception of sailing in the view of the authorities and the general public for ever.
