SA Sailing Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) Appointments
This form is for the purpose of appoint of SA Sailing DSO's only
In order for SA Sailing to consider and confirm appointments at National or Regional level of SA Sailing Designated Safeguarding Officers.
The Safegurding Personal clearnance (SPC) process needs to be completed. Follow these steps to complete the process and fufil the DSO requirements fully;
- Complete this Safeguarding Personal clearnances compliance form: Safeguarding Personal Clearances Via Clathan - South African Sailing Association
- Finalise and complete the process for HURU vetting via the Clathan* process provided in the confirmation email from the above form
- Review, understand and sign off the SA Sailing Handling concerns, reports or allegations Guide
*Clathan is an agency working with sport to manage and process the required safeguarding checks
