Club Application for Affiliation and Annual compliance submission to SA Sailing form
Clause 10.1.2 requires that all Affiliated Clubs, being autonomous and properly constituted sailing or sport Clubs, and which shall:
10.1.2.1. be subject to constitutional objectives that are compatible with the provisions of this Constitution.
10.1.2.2. have collected the Annual Subscription payable to SA Sailing from all of its members as required in terms of the applicable By-Laws; and
10.1.2.3. undertake to, and have complied with, the terms and conditions of this Constitution and its By-Laws.

Kindly include the last AGM minutes and annual report as confirmation of Constitutional compliance and confirmation of appointment of flag bearers
The need to supply a copy of the club Safeguarding Policy and the details of the Clubs (or that of Class/Program/Centre’s) Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) is now a requirement for all Affiliated Club annual compliance submissions
In line with World Sailing and SASCOC requirements. All Sports organisations need to become proactive in matters of safeguarding. Learn about the process of implementation, training and case management via the SA Sailing Safeguarding Site page: Safeguarding - South African Sailing.
Clause 17 and 18 of the SA Sailing Constitution lay out the requirements and rights and obligations that apply for clubs. By law 5 details all the necessary in terms of accountability for clubs and membership fees requirements
All other regulatory and Policies that the affiliated organisations need to comply with are all located on the SA Sailing Website and can primarily be found on the Governance page or the respective Vessel, Training, Performance pages etc.
