On Saturday, 5 May, the first Western Cape TSL Open League event took place at Imperial Yacht Club (IYC). There was a total of 36 sailors on the water making up five teams. With it being an Open League event, it allowed for an excellent blend of top level South African sailors of all ages to compete against one another, as well as allowing for those that were newcomers to team racing to get a real feel as to why this format of sailing is one of the most exciting for both spectator and sailor. Click here for more details
