It's almost time for the Vasco Ocean Race! There is a lot of excitement at the moment and it's growing by the hour. Race crews are in the final stages of prepping the boats and mentally preparing themselves for the adventure at hand. Just a pity we can't all take part... But wait! We had a very good turnout during the 2021 edition of the Vasco with over 80 South African flagged virtual boats that took part in the race. Then there are the multitude of foreign flagged boats that also took part.

Oh. I almost forgot... the SOL Vasco is a buddy race which means that it is a formal agreement between PYC and Sailionline.org whereby they have the rights to host the virtual race. Our real fleet will be overlayed on the race screen in real time using the Yellowbrick trackers on the race boats. You will be able to follow the real fleet on screen!
