President's Update - The Value Proposition

And, as was no doubt inevitable, I was asked about a “value proposition” for South African Sailing.

Of course I had to Google the concept, to be sure that I did not embarrass myself in the subsequent discussions, and as my knowledge grew, so I became more and more convinced that the formally defined “value proposition” was not where the real value of a membership of SA Sailing lay.
