Youth Nationals 2010 is fast descending on us and rest assured that we are hard at work making it happen.

Northern Region is trying its level best to deliver a most enjoyable week of racing where our Youth can demonstrate their skills and win the prizes and accolades that go with their achievements. The last Youth National event held in the Vaal was in 2006; it incorporated a week of Double handed sailing before the single-handed event and included Cats sailing out of Stilbaai. It was also a time of celebration for the Dabchick class which turned 50, the event was highly successful.

South African Sailing would like to congratulate the following sailors who have been selected to represent South Africa at this year’s ISAF Youth World Championships to be held in Istanbul, Turkey from 8 to 17 July 2010.
