The Finance and Administration Committee, which shall be responsible for the efficient operation of the Regional Offices and will report regularly to the Council and Regional Authorities o­n all SAS's financial matters.

Offshore and Inland

The Offshore Committee, which shall be responsible for inter alia setting and adjudicating standards of boat safety and crew competence for the offshore sailors, registration of boats.

Sailing Management

The Sailing Management Committee, which shall be responsible for, inter alia, the observance by participants in the sport of sailing in South Africa of the Racing Rules of Sailing,and bylaws in this regard promulgated by the Association from time to time.

Hi-Performance

The Academy Committee, which shall be responsible for, inter alia, the entire selection process for individuals and/or teams to represent South Africa in International competition.
